I am Adeline “Addie” Pinkston. I am a Woman Veteran who served in the US Army Reserves from 1985 – 1993 in the role of Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Specialist. I began working at a local chemical manufacturing plant in Burkeville, AL as a chemical operator before becoming an Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) Engineering Technician. My role included administering and maintaining Regulatory Compliance Training.

I volunteered and led projects in my local communities as a way of “giving back” whenever the opportunities presented themselves.  Some of the volunteer projects included Toys for Tots, The American Cancer Society, the local Food Bank, and The Angel Tree. After retiring from a 33.5-years career and countless volunteer hours in support of the chemical manufacturing company.

I joined Alabama DAV Chapter 100 to continue to give back to Veterans and their families in my local community, serves in my chapter as the Adjutant.
